Our Service Coordinators work with parents to identify and implement child development goals and help families in setting up evaluations and therapeutic services that support and nurture a child’s development.
We work to provide developmental services in your child’s natural environment; whether that be at home, during child care, at our Listening Ears at Play (LEAP) program, in an integrated Preschool setting, or at other community programs.
Service Coordination and Early Intervention
Our Service Coordinators work with your family to explain the Early Intervention process. To assist with Early Intervention, our Service Coordinators will schedule a visit with your family, obtain demographic information and complete necessary paperwork for creating an individualized Special Education and Development program catered to your child's unique needs.
Our Early Intervention Service Coordinators are responsible for obtaining services recommended on the Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP), completing necessary paperwork, contacting and supporting the family, providing requested assistance, holding IFSP meetings, and coordinating the transition process to preschool.
